Hans "Doc" Franzisko

Hans Jorgen “Doc” Franzisko, age 47, of Versailles, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 13, 1978, in Freising, Germany, a son of Rupert and Jacqueline (Hilding) Franzisko. On August 22, 1998, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Katrina (James) Franzisko. He was a hardworking man and a talented concrete construction worker who took great pride in his craft. He dedicated many years to Clary Concrete before branching out to own and operate his own concrete business, Doc’s Solid Ground Concrete. Known for his attention to detail and perfectionist nature, he approached every project with care and precision, leaving behind work that will stand the test of time. When he finally took some time for himself, he loved going to the gun range, being out on the water riding his jet ski, and of course, going full throttle when he drove his hotrod. Above all, he was a devoted family man. He deeply loved his wife, daughters and grandchildren and worked tirelessly to provide for them. His family was his world and he found his greatest joy in the time he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, dedication and love for his family will live on in the lives he touched. In addition to his wife, Katrina, he is survived by his daughters, Tierra McCoin (Chris) of Versailles, Missouri, Klarissa Franzisko (Braeden Sheridan) of Stover, Missouri and Alaynna Franzisko (Niklas Viebrock) of Versailles, Missouri; grandchildren, Mathias McCoin and Ariel McCoin; father and mother-in-law, Danny and Kathy James of Versailles, Missouri; father, Rupert Franzisko of Bay City, Texas; adopted mother, Rita Bellich of Sedalia, Missouri; step-father, Bob Green of Versailles, Missouri; brother, Justin Bellich of Rocky Mount, Missouri; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Elizabeth Gideon of Stover, Missouri and Brett and Aira James of Jefferson City, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Melissa Webster of Linn Creek, Missouri, Amanda James of Versailles, Missouri and Stephanie James of Jefferson City, Missouri and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Franzisko. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Erik Rottman officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny James, Brian Gideon, Bob Green, Chris McCoin, Warren Bellich, Seth Gideon, Justin Bellich, Brett James, Braeden Sheridan, Jaxon Gideon and Rupert Franzisko. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in the care of Katrina Franzisko. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
