Back to Obituaries Sign the Guestbook Smith, Scott Eugene Scott Eugene Smith, age 49, of Versailles, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010,in Laurie. He was born November 10, 1960, in Reno, Nevada, the son of Edwin Darrel and Martha Sue Overstreet Smith. On July 2, 2005, in Versailles, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Kelly Chulufas, who survives of the home. Scott owned and operated Smith’s Mobile Home Transportation and Parts. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, canoeing, and watching TV. In addition to his wife he is survived by one step-son, Justin Pening of Kansas City, Missouri; three step-daughters, Rebica Pening, Samantha Cundiff, and Shantel Cundiff all of Versailles; one step-grandchild; his mother Martha Smith; one sister, Ginger Smith of Willard, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister Teresa Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Unity of the Lake.
