Back to Obituaries Sign the Guestbook White, Orlyn Orlyn White, age 98, of Versailles, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010, at St. Mary’s Health Center, in Jefferson City. He was born December 2, 1911 in Ironton, Missouri, the son of the late John and Jerusha Carver White. On February 19, 1935, he was united in marriage to Nora R. White who preceded him in death on March 16, 2004. He was a member of the Versailles United Methodist Church. Orlyn enjoyed fox and coyote hunting. He also enjoyed playing baseball. He is survived by two daughters Darla Riley and husband Tom of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Patricia Guenther and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by six brothers Claude, William, Pres, Henry, Jess, and Vaughn; and two sister Audra and Grace. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 15, 2010, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
